Happy Veteran’s Day to all of those who served so selflessly to ensure our freedoms.
When our veterans signed their name on the dotted line, they just committed themselves to the possibility of dying to preserve our way of life. Regardless of whether they are a file clerk or a grunt in the field, they all took the oath and have the potential to one day be deployed and pay the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the almost limitless freedoms that we cherish in this great land of ours. They never ask for a thank you. They simply do it because it is their duty. They do it because they are our American Military. Our gratitude and a thank you is the least that you can give in return. So, push your embarrassment to speak to strangers aside and tell all of the service men and women you see “thank you.” For they were not too embarrassed to stand up for a whole country of strangers and speak out or fight, if need be, against those who would threaten our way of life. They do this without you asking. So please honor them without them having to ask you in return.
To all of our men and women who serve to fight and protect our way of life and the freedoms we enjoy, we know that our liberties would not be afforded to us if you were not brave enough to give so much.
THANK YOU.
