In this constantly moving world, there is no stagnation. You may think that things remain the same. When, in reality, the rest of the world is changing and evolving on. Either you are a person who is contributing to change or you are doing nothing while the world around you enacts change upon you.

Quite often in the entrepreneurial and business world, we attempt to take on responsibilities, jobs and tasks that are better suited for someone else. We do so in an attempt to save money, time or both. Realistically, we often times end up costing ourselves more than if we would have hired the proper person or contracted talent for the job, task or responsibility. The next time you decide to take on a task that is outside of your specialty, consider the actual overall cost you may incur before getting started. It may cost you more in the long run.

Out of all the quotes, I am 100% positive that I understand the meaning behind this one. In the entrepreneurial world, entrepreneurs wear many hats. In reality, they should wear the hat of the person that performs the function that they do best and allow others to do what they do best. If you are in cabinet making, do not try to fix your own computer. If you have a computer business, don’t try to build your own cabinets. It is not a matter of whether you can do it or not. It is a matter of whether it is more profitable to concentrate on you doing your skill and paying someone proficient in theirs. Typically, it is better to pay them than do it yourself.
